Reimagining a Real Adidas Campaign with AI

Adidas created a playful dog jersey campaign for the World Cup, using bold studio backdrops and real dogs to bring the products to life.

The concept was strong, but the execution showed the limits of traditional production. A campaign like this likely required a huge investment of time and money, including studio space, dog talent, photographers, producers, approvals, legal and brand managers to lead it all. Even with the significant level of investment, a few images still felt dark or blurry, some dogs looked more scared than excited, and certain jerseys were shown without dog models at all.

The challenge created a clear opportunity: take a high-investment campaign, recreate it with AI in days, and show how the final imagery could be brighter, sharper, and more engaging.

AI Recreation

I rebuilt the campaign in days, using three AI tools as an extension of myself to step into multiple creative roles.

The difference was clear. Compared to the original campaign, the updated visuals delivered stronger dog expressions, clearer product visibility, and more polished assets.

With AI, I was able to save significant time and costs while improving the overall campaign, resulting in more adaptable visuals designed to engage audiences across web, social, and paid media.

Emotional Evolution

After recreating the campaign, I wanted to push the idea further for Adidas.

Products are not sold through visibility alone. They are sold through emotion. A standalone product image can show what something looks like, but a story helps people imagine why they want it.

Adidas currently sells each jersey as an individual product. I explored what the experience could become if the campaign showed the full family moment instead: a parent jersey, a child jersey, a dog jersey, and a shared love of the game.

That changes the role of the image. It is no longer just a dog wearing a jersey. It becomes a shoppable story about family, fandom, and connection. With AI, brands can move faster, create more variations, and turn individual products into complete campaign moments that feel more personal, emotional, and easier to buy.
